This 2016 from estate vineyards is not technically a riserva, it is just being released now. Aromas of morel cherry, red plum and aniseed; excellent concentration; nicely integrated wood notes and excellent persistence; the finish offers notes of sage and tobacco. Peak in 15-18 years.
